Brrrrr, it is really cold outside / -5 degrees Celcius

Hi everyone it is really cold here in Southern Ontario, it was a bit of a shock going out to the car this morning at 5:30. I was just glad it started and didn't give me any problems. Tomorrow it is suppose to get warmer and rain then turn to freezing rain. Right now I think I would like to live in Aruba. One of my blogging sisters has a cottage on the beach in Austrailia, please I want to live there too! But they are having their problems with all the flooding. I guess each country has there own difficulties. We should be happy with where we live.
Canada may be cold in the winter, cold I can deal with compared to floods, hurricanes and tornadoes.
Tonight my two oldest grandaughters are coming for a sleep over with their dog Copper. Dad is working night shift and their Mom is away for a couple of days working. So Gramps and I get to do some bonding. We love it when they are here, our house is pretty quiet but two teenagers crank it up a notch.
I had better sign off they will be arriving shortly and I am making a stir fry for dinner.
Maybe some stitching later.

I'd sooner it stay cold than that up and down stuff with the temps. We truly are fortunate though compared to some places. Hopefully we'll have lovely weather when we visit Brentwood! :^)

Yes I would rather have it stay cold than up and down.
I am counting the days to go the Brentwood too!

It's freezing here too. Stir fry sound delicious. I haven't made a stir fry in awhile. Have fun with your granddaughters.

You're a busy Girl, dear Cous. Thought I'd 'stop by' and say Hi! Thanks for the photos and the trip down memory lane. I wonder if that bridge with yours and DH's initials carved in it is the same one I remember from childhood. I picture it in my mind often but have no idea where it is. Hope to talk soon. Love, Sheila
