Toronto photo

I love this photo and it has a story. My husband and I were on our way to Toronto Western Hospital for one of my visits and I went to take this photo and just as I was about to snap it from my car window a truck drove up beside and blocked my view totally. I just looked at the driver and said poop!!! The next thing that happed was I heard the horn on the truck and he is backing up WOW is all I can say. I snapped the photo, I gave a very gratefull wave and mouthed a thank you. So you see people there are great truck drivers out there. With all the news coming out of Buffalo with there terrible ordeal, let us give thanks for all the wonderful people that are helping others. You have to feel very sorry for seniors and the people who are trapped in their homes. God bless! Today I guess is one of those days............my photo does not want to download. I will try to post it later, right now I am not a happy camper!!!! Kerry ~Happiest when stitching~

I am back again!

Hi everyone, here I go again. Yes I have been away from my blogging for awhile but I am trying to get back into the groove. I have been stitching and reading but no blogging. I could make all types of excuses but to tell you the truth I just didn't feel like it. I have missed all my blogging friends so here I go. I have a few photos of my stitching and I am going to try to blog every week or so more if I can. Thanks for your patience everyone, have missed your friendships. The photos are of our annual Cross Stitching Sister's retreat that we have every year in May on the shores of Lake Huron at a beautiful B&B called Brentwood on the Beach. We would love to have some of you join us next year. Let me know if any of you are interested. It is me with the crutches I have had some health issues I must either use crutches or a wheel chair I try to use the crutches whenever I can but when I have to go longer distances I must use the chair. Have a great summer everyone. ~Happiest when stitching~

President John F. Kennedy
The president and Jackie looked so happy, it all went wrong a few minutes later.
Preident John F. Kennedy returns to Washington. I hope everyone can forgive me, I wanted to have these photos added to my previous post of JFK on the 50th anniversary but they just wouldn't post yesterday. Even though I was only 10 years old at the time I will never forget that day!

50 YEARS AGO Yes I remember what I was doing 50 years ago. I was in class in elementary school grade 5 the PA came on and we heard our principal tell us that the President, of the United States of America had ben shot and killed. We were horrified and of course we really didn't understand what was happening. When we got home that afternoon it was left to our parents to try to make us understand what had happened and why. I still have a .50 cent coin of JFK that had been made into a necklace. I plan on wearing that all day November 22. Yes we all know that John F. Kennedy was a great president and yes we all know that as a man he had many faults. We are all human and yes we all have faults. It has been 50 years in my opinion it is a time to reflect on all his good points and not to judge his bad, there is a higher power that will have dealt with that. The Kennedy family has had many trials and much happiness and so much sadness. Let us just remember and say God bless! ~Happiest when stitching~

I am back again!

Hi everyone, I am so sorry that I have been absent again. I have had a busy time with family, physio therapy and doctors appointments and all kinds of things. I have been stitching but not a lot. My husband just had surgery he now has a new right knee. He had hi left knee replaced 4 years ago. So now he is my Steve Austin, my bionic husband or at least he will be in a few weeks. Right now he is not a happy guy who is feeling house bound. My Mom has been here helping out. I walk with crutches in the house and for short distances but if it is going to be a long walk I have to use a wheel chair. I have a neurological dysorder called Dystonia. So my husband and I are quite the pair these days. s ~Happiest when stitching~
