I have been working on this for a bit. I started it on our Brentwood retreat in 2011, I had a few technical problems...... I want to use it as a centre piece for my kitchen table. My colours in my kitchen are blue and yellow but I am having trouble with the yellow. It just isn't what I wanted. So maybe I will finish it soon or maybe I will not. I guess time will tell. I have also been stitching on Titanic and I have also stitched some Christmas ornaments.
I had 2 weeks holidays and went back to my hometown for a few days taking my Mom and my grandaughter Maddison. We had a great time and Maddison got to meet a lot of family members, she had not met before.

I think it would look great with Yellow. If you don't like it, maybe you need to pick another yellow. I loved my growth rings, but I know when people saw the colours I was going to use they thought I was crazy! LOL

take what you have finished into gittas or Thread and eye and try other colors with it. maybe even a different blue or a purple would look good
